In this class you will learn how to make a nourishing natural lip balm and body scrub.
What we will cover in the workshop:
- equipment needed and where to buy them
- butters, oils and other beneficial ingredients
- the process of creating the products from scratch
- types of exfoliants
- types of waxes and thickeners
- natural colours,
- fragrance/essential oils,
- how to guard against grainyness of butters
This workshop is designed for those just starting out with making their own products from scratch, who are curious about how to make lip balms and body scrubs or who want to embark in a creative and useful hobby. Our workshop will teach you techniques that will help you make exquisite skincare products in your own home.
During the workshop you will be making your own natural lip balm and body scrub and take some of it away with you to enjoy later.
We use lovely quality plant oils/butters which nourish the skin, and natural colours as well as pure essential oils.
No animal products are used, so this is suitable for vegans.
There will be a handout for you to take home.
All the ingredients are provided, including jars and essential oils.
